100% electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid engines will play a major role in the energy mix of road vehicles in the coming years. According to the latest estimates, vehicles with electric drives will represent nearly 50% of the entire vehicle fleet by 2035.
These new engines, with very different mechanical configurations, are a major challenge in terms of innovation for our production of forged and machined parts. The Setforge Group, thanks to its recognized industrial experience, is ready to take up this challenge.
Our engineering teams are able to develop and optimize these new components to make them extremely efficient and reliable, while reducing their weight and maintaining a competitive cost for mass production. Our current production includes electric motor parts such as primary and secondary shafts, solid or forged from tube, pinions and crowns as well as powertrain elements such as parking brake components.
Comprehensive pre-machining and machining services are offered in parallel within the Setforge sites or via one of our excellent partners.
